This is a full-time position (8:30AM-5:00PM)
Specific Duties:
• Accept parts deliveries each day, entering key information into system and managing the location of each part.
• Gather parts for technician’s routes and ensure parts/paperwork are correct.
• Monitor missing parts for each day’s routes and inform dispatcher.
• Ensure courier has necessary information to deliver parts to technicians
• Return unused parts to inventory in a timely manner.
• Research parts returned/missing from technicians each day to determine appropriate action.
• Research part issues with distributor, courier, technicians and office.
• Send paperwork to corporate office.
• Monitor parts aging.
• Monitor inventory.
• Assemble month end information.
• Track inventory in appropriate systems.
• Inspect parts when necessary.
• Ship orders to customers.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, workstations and shipping area neat and complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
• Attention to detail
• Ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to frequently stand, stoop, kneel and crouch
• Knowledge of warehouse/inventory processes desired
• Valid driver’s license

As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
